A Whole Section Dedicated to the Greatest Ska Punk Band on Earth! Enter Less Than Jake...
Seeing as though Less Than Jake have always been, are and always will be my favourite band in the world, I thought they deserved a mention on my website. And by "mention", I mean a whole section dedicated to them. A sort of LTJ shrine, if you will. I'm hoping to fit in Interviews, Pics, and hopefully a few MP3s and Movies for your entertainemnt. But that all depends on the bands generousity. Anyway, snoop around, and be sure to check out their Official Website!

History of a Boring Town... Less Than Jake began as a band in 1992 and were a huge hit in local areas since the word GO. (Local areas would be clubs and bars in Gainesville, Florida) The band started out as a punk rock trio, from New Jursey, consisting of Chris (guitar), Vinnie (drums) and Shaun (bass). But practice became difficult after Chris moved to Gainesville. In order to continue playing, Vinnie followed. It is there that the two became friends with Roger, he would soon become their new bass player. (But dont worry about Shaun, he became LTJ's friendly roadie!)

The Band!
Goldfinger... The Man With The Golden Touch... Well, as I said before, LTJ are a Ska band, and by now you're probably wondering: "Where the hell is the ska!?" Well the horn section of LTJ first came in the form of a man named Buddy. (But as Chris, Rog and Vinnie were too drunk to remember his name from the bar, they christened him Goldfinger, because of the golden trombone he carried.) The other horn members were Jessica, an Alto Saxophone player and Pete, LTJ's second Trombone player. Additional horns were added to various tracks on various albums by a good friend of the band, Derron.

Ye Olde Less Than Jake, including Pete and Derron!
Growing Up on a Couch Well, people grow older, find new hobbies and interests and get seperated from the band. Jess was the first to leave, to continue her schoolwork. Derron left soon after finishing recording Borders and Boundaries. And most recently, Pete said his farewells. But that isn't the end! Less Than Jake go from strength to strength, and with the newest addition to the band, Pete, (or Pete Junior, or JR for short. To avoid confusion you see.) the band is back on top form!

The band chillin with beer and coffee...
